The shoot locations above are suggestions only.  Paul and Rachel will put their local knowledge and planning skills to excellent use guiding you to where the perfect locations are each day based on the light, tide, and weather to allow you the very best opportunities to come away with a folio of wonderful imagery.

Variety and Scope
As conditions present themselves over the course of the trip, we will have the potential to explore a wide range of photographic genres including Landscapes, Seascapes, Forest, Waterfalls, Wildlife, Macro, Long Exposure, Nightscapes, Milky Way, Aurora Australis.

Education and Tutoring
Paul and Rachel, while running the trip, will aim to make themselves available to support all aspects your technical and aesthetic approach to image taking. Whether it’s long exposures, focus stacking, astro photography, macro, or wildlife there will be ample opportunity to experiment and explore them all. There will be scope for individual and collective image critique during the trip and potentially some post production, though the general emphasis will be focused on location shooting and camera craft.

They will share their shoot planning techniques and approaches so you can feel more empowered to apply these insights and skills to your own photography sessions in the future to better get yourself in the right place at the right time, wherever you choose to go.

Fitness Level
Moderate or relaxed, we will be mainly driving to the shooting locations and photographing relatively near the vehicle or within a shorter, non-technical walk.
